WILLOUGHBY, OH — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting at the Fox Run Apartments that triggered a manhunt and urgent safety warnings for residents on Monday afternoon.
The incident was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m., prompting a large police response in the area of Fox Run Drive, near Lost Nation Road. At approximately 4:29 p.m., law enforcement deployed a drone over the intersection of State Route 306 and Lakeshore Boulevard to aid in the search for the suspect.
Police have not yet confirmed the suspect’s identity or released information regarding a possible motive. It also remains unclear whether additional victims were injured during the incident.
